MORTGAGE CHECKLIST
- Purchase agreement for your new home signed by all parties.
- A copy of the purchase agreement for present home, if applicable.
- The relocation agreement from your employer if you are being transferred.
- Name, address, and telephone number of your employer for employment verifications. If not employed with present employer for a full two years, please provide the same for previous employers.
- Last two years W-2 statements if compensation includes overtime, bonus, commissions, or tips.
- Copy of most recent pay stub.
- If self-employed, completed tax returns with all schedules attached for the last two years plus a current profit and loss statement.
- If paying child support or alimony, a copy of the court decree showing the amounts to be paid.
- If borrowing against a life insurance policy, the cash value of the policy, amount of coverage, and monthly cost.
- Social Security numbers.
- Name, address (including zip codes), and account numbers for all savings, checking, credit cards with balances, and installment accounts (car loans, mortgage payments, school loans, etc.) with approximate balances and monthly payments.
- List of stocks and bonds with approximate value.
- Estimated value of cars owned, year and model.
- Estimated value of furniture and personal property.
- The amount is usually the insurance coverage of household goods. Copy of lease agreements on any rental properties.
- Checkbook to pay for application fee.
